According to the Presidential Office, Sandu held a number of meetings with counterparts, ministers, and representatives of international organisations.

Slovenian President and host of the event, Nataša Pirc Musar, awarded Sandu the Bled Strategic Forum Distinguished Partner Award. The organisers said the award is a recognition of Sandu's courage and leadership qualities in Moldova's European path.

On the sidelines of the forum, the head of state held a series of discussions and meetings, including with Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar, Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Helga Maria Schmid, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly, and French Minister for Europe Laurence Boone.

Sandu invited the Slovenian president to visit Moldova and discussed with Pirc Musar ways to deepen relations between the two countries.

"In the discussions, I thanked President Pirc Musar for the openness with which Slovenia supports us in our progress on the European path and invited her to visit Moldova this fall," Sandu said.
