Russian drones attack Ukrainian port, killing one
The Russian military attacked the port of Ismail in Odessa, Ukraine, with drones in the early hours of September 6, killing one person and causing damage to infrastructure, according to Ukrainskaia Pravda.
The news outlet reported that the attack also damaged port and agricultural infrastructure, including elevators, administrative buildings, and agricultural enterprises.
In a statement, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces said they shot down 15 Shahed-136 drones in the attack.
Air raid alerts were activated in the city of Kyiv and many other Ukrainian regions around 4 a.m.
In their morning report, the Ukrainian Air Forces said that Russian forces launched at least seven cruise missiles, one ballistic missile, and 25 Shahed drones, which are manufactured in Iran.
The air defence forces shot down 23 of the aerial targets, including 15 of the 25 drones.
