“The ultimate goal is to create a fully digital future, where all services will be available in electronic format,” said Mihai Lupașcu, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization.

As part of the strategy, the government plans to launch a mobile application that will allow citizens to access a variety of government services, including identity documents, driving licences, and passports. The application will also allow citizens to interact with the government in a more simple and convenient way.

The strategy also includes a number of other initiatives, such as the development of a national data centre and the promotion of digital skills training.
