Moldova wins second consecutive Euro 2024 qualifier
The Moldovan national football team won a new victory in the qualifiers for the European Championship in 2024. The "Tricolorii" defeated the Faroe Islands team in a 1-0 away match, according to Moldova 1.
The winning goal was scored by captain Vadim Rață in the 53rd minute. The midfielder scored his second goal for the national team after a pass from Ion Nicolaescu.
The team coached by Serghei Cleșcenco has thus achieved its second consecutive victory in the qualifiers for the European Championship in 2024 and is also unbeaten in its last three matches.
The "Tricolorii" will play their next match in the Euro 2024 qualifiers on October 15 away to Poland. Three days earlier, the Moldovan national team has a friendly match scheduled against Sweden in Solna.
