Nicu Popescu is visiting Portugal and Italy to boost Moldova's accession to the EU
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, undertakes between September 11 and 15 two working visits to Portugal and Italy. The official communicated that their purpose is to deepen the bilateral dialogue, to discuss the European agenda and boost the process of our country's accession to the European Union.
"In Lisbon, I will have meetings with my Portuguese counterpart João Gomes Cravinho, with other top officials. In the same way, the Cooperation Memorandum between the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that of the Portuguese Republic will be signed", said Nicu Popescu.
In Rome, he will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Antonio Tajani, and will participate in hearings during the joint session of the Committees for Foreign Affairs of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
At the end of the visit, on September 14, Nicu Popescu announces that he will have a meeting with the Italian diaspora.
