Shor Group, excluded from the elections
The Constitutional Court decided a short time ago to stop the verification of the sanctions against the dissolved Shor party, introduced in the Electoral Code at the end of July. The reason - the parity of votes, two judges voted for and two others against the litigation registered by the group of Shor deputies.
Therefore, the leadership of the party declared unconstitutional and all those elected on the lists of the former Shor formation in the Parliament, town halls, local and district councils will not be able to run in the local elections.
The amendments were approved at the proposal of the president of the Legal Commission, Olesea Stamate. The justification was the application of the decision of the Constitutional Court, which outlaws the Shor Party due to illegal external financing and involvement in subversive actions.
The sanctions are valid for the next five years.
