Ukrainian President Zelensky arrives in Belgium for unannounced visit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Belgium for an unannounced visit, where he will attend a meeting of defence ministers in the Ramstein format.

According to NATO spokesperson Dylan White, Zelensky arrived at NATO headquarters in Brussels.

"NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at NATO headquarters this morning," White wrote on the social media platform “X”.

After the meeting, Zelensky and Stoltenberg will speak to reporters, followed by the meeting of defence ministers from NATO member countries.

"For the first time offline, I will attend the Ramstein format meeting. I have an important appeal to all the defence ministers present from the countries that are members of this powerful coalition. For the second time since the start of the full-scale war, I will hold talks in Brussels with the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo. The main thing is our common protection of freedom and people," Zelensky announced ahead of the Ramstein format meeting.
