Deputy of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists Veaceslav Nigai is leaving the parliamentary faction

The deputy of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists Veaceslav Nigai announced today that he is leaving the faction, together with a group of members of the Communist Party. The statement was made in a briefing.

"For over a year and a half, some dissensions appeared with the party leadership regarding the election and collaboration with some left-wing parties. I refused to participate in some mass measures with these parties, that is why in December I submitted a request for resignation from the position of vice-president of the Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova and exclusion from the political executive", said Veaceslav Nigai.

Veaceslav Nigai said that he will continue his activity as an unaffiliated deputy.
