Romania stands by the Republic of Moldova. Igor Grosu and Mircea Abrudean discussed economic development and reforms implementation
Romania stands by the Republic of Moldova and will continue to support our European path - the message was sent by the Secretary General of the Government of Romania, Mircea Abrudean, during a meeting with the Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.
The Parliament Speaker from Chisinau wrote on his Facebook page that he discussed with the official from Bucharest about economic development and justice reform in the Republic of Moldova.
"We discussed the future plans of the PAS government, which provides for sustained economic development, justice reform and the implementation of reforms that will lead to the fulfillment of our country's project - Accession to the EU by 2030. Romania, along with Germany and France, are the founders of the Moldova Support Platform, an initiative that helped us enormously in managing the risks, multiple crises and challenges that arose as a result of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Together with our friends, we strengthen our energy security, vote laws that are attractive to investors, strengthen state institutions for a prosperous and safe European Moldova", wrote Igor Grosu on his Facebook account.
For his part, the official from Bucharest reconfirmed his country's support for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
"Romania is with the Republic of Moldova and will continue to support our European path", Mircea Abrudean said at the meeting with Igor Grosu.
"Romania's support for the Republic of Moldova is and will remain steadfast. We will be by your side to strengthen stability and resilience in the face of hybrid pressures, sponsored from outside", declared the Secretary General of the Government of Romania, Mircea Abrudean, at the end of the fourth edition of the Moldova Support Platform, which took place at Chisinau.
The Romanian official said that the authorities in Bucharest will support the reform process, strengthening the rule of law and democracy in the Republic of Moldova.
Along with delegations from 30 states, Romania, represented by the Secretary General of the Government from Bucharest, Mircea Abrudean, participated in the works of the ministerial conference in Chisinau held within the Moldova Support Platform.
