Scandal at the Russian Embassy: a diplomat of the representation allegedly sexually harassed the children of three of his colleagues
A diplomat of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Chisinau is accused of sexually harassing the children of three of his colleagues, wrote the "Eho" publication. According to Russian journalists, the three Embassy employees addressed the General Prosecutor's Office in Moscow.
The "Eho" publication, which refers to its sources, notes that everything would have happened in September. However, the accused diplomat was summoned to Moscow at the end of last month, and so far it is not known whether a criminal case has been opened against him.
Russian journalists write that one of the sources told them that most likely this case will not have a finality, so as not to tarnish the reputation of the Russian ambassador in Chisinau. The "Eho" publication writes that it contacted the alleged aggressor, but he rejected any accusation. Moreover, the diplomat mentioned that he returned to Moscow because his mission in our country ended.
The Russian Embassy in Chisinau has not yet commented on this case.
We remind you that, in August, 22 diplomats and 23 employees in administrative positions of the Russian diplomatic representation left the Republic of Moldova after the authorities in Chisinau decided to reduce their number following a scandal with the antennas installed on the roof of the Embassy, which would capture information for the Russian secret services.
