The Ukrainian minister for digital transformation, Mihailo Fyodorov, said that the production and number of drones made in Ukraine increased more than 100 times compared to last year, writes the Ukrainian RBC news agency, quoted by Rador.

“You have to understand that this is a technology war. Today, drones, electronic warfare, protecting our equipment from enemy drones, situational awareness systems, satelite communications are important components of a technological war. Maximum deregulation, an opening of markets is necessary so that businesses can get contracts, create products, have large-scale production," Fedorov explained in an interview for RBC.

The minister recalled that Ukraine launched a pilot project called "Drone Army", adopted dozens of decisions and laws, deregulated this field and increased funding.

"Comparing this year with last year, we see that the production and the number of drones that our armed forces - all defense forces - will receive by the end of the year, has increased more than 100 times," said the minister. Fyodorov also said that in the government application "Diya" a component dedicated to military projects has been created, so that more than 40 drone manufacturers have already been integrated into that application.
