Parliamentarians from different EU member states will participate in the first meeting hosted by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova

The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova will host, for the first time, the meeting of the presidents of the Commissions for EU Affairs and the Commissions for Foreign Affairs from the countries of the European Union. The event titled "United4Moldova" will take place on Saturday, November 4, on the platform of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission.

According to a press release from the Legislative, parliamentarians from various member states of the European Union, representatives of the European Parliament and diplomats - will debate on the European perspective of our country and support of the European integration efforts of Moldova.

At the opening of the meeting, the president of the country, Maia Sandu, the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, the prime minister Dorin Recean, the president of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Doina Gherman, and the head of the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova Jānis Mažeiks will address the participants in the event.

The debates will take place in three sessions: European integration – achievements, actions to be taken and lessons to be learned; economic development and energy security; security resilience. Deputies, ministers, state secretaries and presidential advisers will present the situation in the Republic of Moldova, the progress made in the EU accession process and the challenges to be overcome by our country. At the end of the discussions, the Resolution of the meeting will be approved, reads the release.
