Israeli military attacks sites in Syria in retaliation for fire toward Golan Heights

The Israel Defense Forces said they have struck sites in Syria in retaliation for fire toward the Golan Heights on Saturday, TASS agency reports.

"Some time ago, in response to yesterday's (Saturday’s) attack in the direction of the Golan Heights, IDF fighter jets struck terrorist infrastructure in Syria," the IDF said on Telegram.

On Saturday, it said the Israeli military detected fire from Syria and started responding.
