Citizens will receive notifications through the MNotify system from institutions providing public services
The concept of the government electronic notification service MNotify was approved at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Through it, electronic service providers will send notifications to citizens via messages, such as those related to passport expiration or various authorizations, emphasized the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba.
"This service represents a uniform and reusable, convenient way of sending notifications within the information systems owned by electronic service providers through various notification channels, in order to facilitate their interaction with individuals and legal entities. The main beneficiaries are services such as: CNAM, the State Fiscal Service, the Public Services Agency and many other services that offer public services to citizens and entrepreneurs. Of course, the main beneficiaries are the citizens. For example, your ID has expired. If you are subscribed to the MNotify service, you will receive an SMS message that your ID has expired, go and complete it. Or you ordered a new passport, the passport is ready, you received a notification via SMS that you can pick it up", stated Dumitru Alaiba.
