Farmers announced a protest with agricultural machinery in Chisinau

On November 22, the farmers will protest again. This was announced this morning by the Association "Forța Fermierilor". Farmers from several districts will come with agricultural equipment in Chisinau. According to the press release, many agricultural producers are on the verge of bankruptcy and despair and have no other way out than to take to the streets. They claim that all attempts to resolve the issue of saving micro, small and medium farmers through dialogue have failed.

We remind you that, on November 7, the Association "Forța Fermierilor" and the National Federation of Farmers met with Prime Minister Dorin Recean to ask for higher subsidies in agriculture, but also to ban grain transit from Ukraine through the Republic of Moldova. After the meeting, the farmers announced that the "brief meeting" with the Prime Minister did not lead to "any concrete results" and they will organize massive protests from November 21.
