Denmark will open an embassy in the Republic of Moldova
Denmark will open an embassy in the Republic of Moldova in 2024. The announcement was made during the discussions between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, with his Danish counterpart, Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
The diplomatic mission will play an important role in the development and strengthening of political, economic and cultural ties between our countries, according to the message sent by Nicu Popescu to his Danish counterpart.
This year, several countries, including the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Spain have opened or will soon open embassies in the Republic of Moldova.
This underlines the importance that our country has in the region and the strengthening of relations with the member states of the European Union, reads a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
