The mutual conversion of driving licenses and the reduction of roaming fees, discussed by Nicu Popescu and his British counterpart David Cameron

The common interest in strengthening strategic relations between the Republic of Moldova and Great Britain was discussed by the head of diplomacy from Chisinau, Nicu Popescu, with his British counterpart, David Cameron, who visited our country.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE), the officials discussed the signing of agreements for the mutual conversion of driving licenses and the reduction of roaming fees.

"I also emphasized the importance of boosting collaboration in efforts to fight corruption and bring to justice those responsible for harming the state and our citizens. Consolidating the relationship with Great Britain is an essential element in strengthening the resilience and security of our country," said Nicu Popescu. The new Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, David Cameron, also had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
