Romania: More vehicles blocked in Suceava county due to snow

A temporary blockage occurred on Saturday morning, on National Road 17, on the sector between Ilisesti and Paltinoasa localities in Suceava County, Romania, due to heavy snowfall, announced the representatives of Iasi Regional Roads and Bridges Directorate, Agerpres reports.

According to the cited source, the teams of Suceava National Roads Section intervened to restore traffic, which is taking place in winter conditions, with heavy snowfall of about one centimeter.

"Heavy snowfalls are also recorded in other sectors of the county, especially in the mountains. The snow removal teams of Iasi Regional Roads and Bridges Directorate are present in those areas, amid the yellow code warning of snow and blizzard, valid until tomorrow", Iasi Regional Roads and Bridges Directorate stated .
