"I'm glad to be back in Kiev, among friends," the European Council president posted on social media, along with a photo of himself getting off a train.

We mention that the president of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is visiting Kiev.

The Day of Dignity and Freedom is marked in Ukraine on November 21, commemorating the Euromaidan protests in Kyiv that began on November 21, 2013 against former President Viktor Yanukovych, who refused at the last minute to sign the Association Agreement with the European Union.

For the second consecutive year, the Day of Dignity and Freedom is marked against the background of the large-scale invasion of Russia, which began on February 24, 2022.
