Difficult crossing for trucks: Restrictions at the customs posts in Leușeni, Cahul and Giurgiulești
The crossing of trucks through the Leușeni, Cahul and Giurgiulești customs posts is restricted, the spokeswoman of the Customs Service, Tatiana Șompol, said for our radio station.
According to her, the authorities in Romania temporarily prohibit the movement of trucks due to weather conditions and blocked roads.
"Due to the snowy roads, the Giurgiulesti customs post towards the Reni customs post from Ukraine is blocked. The customs post has ceased its activity due to the disconnection of electricity and the access road is blocked. The customs posts towards Ceadâr-Lunga are blocked too. The Molovata customs post, due to the strong wind gusts, traffic on the Nistru river is disrupted and is temporarily inactive", says Tatiana Șompol.
According to her, all other customs posts operate normally.
