Transnistrian problem settlement, discussed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration with the new ambassador of Great Britain in Chisinau
Chisinau's priorities in the Transnistrian settlement, as well as developments in the negotiation process, were the topics discussed by Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian, during the meeting with the new ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova, E.S. Fern Horine.
Oleg Serebrian reiterated the fact that the reintegration of the country is a priority for the current government. The European integration process, as well as the Ukrainian army's resistance to Russian aggression, created favorable conditions for finding solutions for a comprehensive settlement of this problem.
The Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration emphasized the importance of the support provided by Great Britain at the political level, in development processes and through assistance projects aimed at supporting the process of settling the Transnistrian file.
The officials expressed full openness to continuing cooperation and expanding it in areas of mutual interest.
