Ukraine-Moldova parliamentary ties strengthened

Ruslan Stefanchuk, President of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, is set to address the plenary session of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on Thursday. The Ukrainian lawmaker will then meet with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, followed by a joint press conference.

Stefanchuk's visit to Moldova, which spans November 30 to December 1, 2023, marks his first trip to Chisinau as President of the Verkhovna Rada. The visit comes amidst ongoing bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the realm of European integration.

Strengthening Parliamentary Ties

In a recent development, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document aims to bolster bilateral parliamentary relations and coordinate the efforts of the two parliaments towards their shared goal of European integration.
