Dorin Recean calls on mayors to participate in the December 9 Forum: "Our goal is to build Europe at home"
Prime Minister Dorin Recean urged all mayors to participate in the Mayors' Forum, which will be organized on Saturday, December 9, under the auspices of President Maia Sandu. The Head of the Executive said that regardless of color and political views, mayors, local and central authorities must focus on the development of localities.
"I urge all mayors to participate in the December 9 Forum. It is important to align with what we have to do in our localities for citizens, both central public administration and local public administration. Our objective is to build Europe at home and accordingly we need this collaboration. I emphasize: I urge all mayors to come to the event, regardless of political color, because we all want the same thing - to build comfortable, European localities in our country", said Dorin Recean at the beginning of the Government meeting.
We remind you that on Monday, President Maia Sandu announced the holding of the Mayors' Forum on December 9. "Our common goal, and mine, as president, and yours, as local leaders, is to create strong, united communities, to raise living conditions at home and to transform all of Moldova, village by village, into a European country," said Maia Sandu in her appeal. The forum will be organized under the auspices of the head of state.
