"Eugen Doga" Cultural Center will be set up in Chisinau
The building located in Chisinau, on Veronica Micle Street, the constructions and the land related to them will be transferred from the state property to the management of the Chisinau City Hall, for the opening of the "Eugen Doga" Cultural Center. A decision to this effect was approved by the Executive.
Under the document, the creative heritage of the master will be systematized within the Center, and his work will be studied by experts in the field of musicology, students of universities and music colleges. The Center will also provide support to talented young people and assist in the development of children's musical education.
The transmitted building is an architectural monument of national significance, entered in the Register of State-protected monuments. The transfer of real estate will be carried out within 30 days from the date of adoption of the project.
Previously, this building was the headquarters of the prosecutor's office, and in the summer of this year, it was engulfed in flames.
