Maia Sandu at the "Dreamicon" conference: "Together with the Government and the Parliament, we encourage startups"
Head of state Maia Sandu welcomed, on Saturday, the participants of the "Dreamicon" conference, announces the Press Service of the Presidency. Also, Maia Sandu mentioned that our country has business potential in the technological and digital field.
"Moldova has great potential for the development of technological and digital businesses: we have talented and brave people, high-speed internet and we promote a friendly fiscal policy. I spoke about this yesterday to local entrepreneurs in the field of digital technologies and foreign investors".
The Head of State pointed out that, together with the Government and the Parliament, she will encourage startups. An example of this is the program dedicated to supporting digital innovations and technological startups, launched by the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship.
The program offers financing in the amount of up to 500 thousand lei for innovative ideas in the digital and IT sector.
