This landmark ruling, delivered today, compels the CSE to publish the court's verdict on the government's official website.

Responding to the development, Daniel Vodă, the Government's official spokesperson, declared, "The Executive will appeal this decision to the Supreme Court of Justice, firmly standing by its commitment to safeguarding national security from organised crime groups."

The CSE's initial decision to bar "Șansă" from the elections stemmed from allegations of the party's illicit financial practices and connections with the Kremlin regime. The government's subsequent decision to challenge the Court of Appeals' ruling highlights the ongoing legal battle and its potential ramifications for national security.
