Dozens injured in a Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital
A Russian missile attack targeted Kiev on Wednesday morning, injuring dozens of people, according to the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, reports Agerpres.ro.
"There are 34 injured in the Dniprovski district of the capital. 15 of them were hospitalized, including two children. 19 received medical assistance on the spot," Kyiv Mayor Vitali Kliciko wrote on social media, citing rescue services.
According to him, "following the night rocket attack of the enemy on the Dniprovski district of the capital, an apartment block was damaged".
About 15 residents were evacuated and a pediatric hospital was damaged.
The military administration in Kiev reported that debris from the destruction of "enemy aerial targets" fell on the Desnianski and Dniprovski districts, a part of the city where a fire broke out, according to the same source.
This is the second attack on Kiev within a week.
