"The state will intervene when the security of the Republic of Moldova is threatened." Dorin Recean comments on the decision of the Court of Appeal to annul the decision of the CSE
Through yesterday's decision of the Chisinau Court of Appeal, which annulled the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations by which all candidates of the Sansa party were removed from the electoral race for the November elections, the magistrates blocked the country's efforts to stop criminal activity, declared the prime Minister Dorin Recean. According to him, the state will intervene every time when the security of the Republic of Moldova is threatened.
"This panel of judges from the Court of Appeal yesterday decided to cancel the decision of the Commission of the Emergency Situations, which intervened and ended the criminal activity and the interference of criminal groups in the local electoral process in the Republic of Moldova. This creates a situation where a criminal group can come here, do whatever they want, corrupt voters, corrupt judges, make fun of people, and the state has no right to intervene. We believe otherwise".
We remind you that the Sansa Party was excluded from the electoral race this fall, by a decision of the Commission of the Emergency Situations on November 3. At that time, Prime Minister Dorin Recean said that the decision was taken for reasons of national security. The official stated that the Republic of Moldova is the target of a hybrid war, launched by the Russian Federation, through the criminal groups led by the criminal convict Ilan Șor.
Also, the director of the Intelligence and Security Service, Alexandru Musteata, said that the Russian Federation allocated about one billion lei through the fugitive politician, Ilan Șor, to destabilize the situation in the Republic of Moldova and bring people loyal to the Kremlin to power. According to him, there was the suspicion that each of the 652 candidates of the Sansa party would have received 20 thousand lei each, tablets and mobile phones, totaling up to 13 million lei.
We remind that the CSE provision was immediately contested in court by the Sansa party.
