The President of the European Parliament assures: the European Union will continue to support the Republic of Moldova
The European Union supports the European path of the Republic of Moldova, assures the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola. The senior European official made the statement during the meeting with the country's prime minister, Natalia Gavrilița, who is on an official visit to Germany.
"I am happy to meet again with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, today, in Bavaria. Moldova has shown great determination in promoting reforms, defending European values and rejecting hybrid threats. As a candidate country for the EU, we will continue to support Moldova", wrote the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, on Twitter, after the meeting with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.
Moldova 1 recalls that Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița is on an official visit to Germany, from January 6-8. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers from Chisinau is to participate in the closed meeting of the parliamentary group of the Christian-Social Union in the German Bundestag, where several current topics will be addressed, including the current security and economic challenges, the issue of migration, but also the consequences on which generates the war started by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
The Head of the Executive from Chisinau will give a speech in front of the German parliamentarians, after which she will hold a press conference together with the leader of the parliamentary group of the Christian-Social Union in the German Bundestag, Alexander Dobrindt, the Government's press service announces.
Also, Natalia Gavrilița will have a series of bilateral meetings with several European officials and businessmen from Germany.
