Romanian Foreign Ministry: Another hostage with Romanian citizenship died in Gaza
The Romanian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday evening that another hostage taken by Hamas terrorists, who had dual Israeli and Romanian citizenship, died in Gaza. At the moment, there is another hostage in Gaza who has Romanian citizenship, according to Digi24.RO.
"Following the clarifications sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the context of the security situation in the State of Israel and the Gaza Strip, we remind that the Israeli authorities have informed about the death of a person with dual citizenship, Israeli and Romanian, held hostage in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sends its condolences to the bereaved family", reads the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered on Saturday.
The ministry also states that, "currently, a person with dual citizenship, Israeli and Romanian, is still being held hostage in the Gaza Strip, in a context in which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the need to release all the hostages in the Gaza Strip."
The Romanian embassy in Tel Aviv maintains contact with the Israeli authorities, reads the quoted statement.
