Avia Invest appeal rejected

The contract to concession Chisinau International Airport has been irrevocably rescinded, the Supreme Court of Justice ruled on Wednesday.

The Civil, Commercial, and Administrative College of the Supreme Court of Justice declared inadmissible the appeal filed by Avia Invest SRL against the rulings of the Chisinau Court of Appeal.

The ruling is final and cannot be appealed.

In March 2023, the airport was returned to state management. The current government has alleged that the selection of Avia Invest in 2013 was flawed, with the company being indirectly controlled by oligarch Ilan Shor.
