"The chief negotiator will be assisted by the European Integration Office which has already been approved. There he will be assisted by about 40 people. They will work on 6 clusters in which the chapters of the acquis communautaire are divided. In this way, we will ensure the interaction, on the one hand, of all public institutions, and on the other hand, of the negotiators. It is a very laborious, responsible exercise that requires a deep understanding of the community acquis and the reality of the Republic of Moldova".

Dorin Recean said that in January 2024 the screening process of the legislation of the Republic of Moldova will begin.

We remind you that on December 14, the European Council voted to start the accession negotiations of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.
