Dumitru Obada is the new president of the Superior Council of Prosecutors
Dumitru Obada was elected today, with the vote of 9 members, as president of the Superior Council of Prosecutors. He will hold the mandate for the next two years. Dumitru Obada said that he wants communication with all the courts.
"It is important to act. It is not an easy mandate, there will be challenges, but through dialogue with certainty we will succeed. Let's have positive experiences and emotions. We have a lot of work to do and that's why consolidated efforts are needed", Obada said.
We remind you that Dumitru Obada worked as a prosecutor and government agent of the Republic of Moldova at the European Court of Human Rights. During the Government meeting of December 21, 2023, the official was released from the position of government agent based on the resignation request. Later, at the December 22 meeting of the General Assembly of Prosecutors, Dumitru Obada was elected as a member of the CSP from the General Prosecutor's Office.
