Moldova Capital back on track after snowstorm

Following a brief suspension due to Monday's blizzard, public transportation services in Chisinau have resumed operation.

The Chisinau City Hall announced the restart, assuring residents that trolleybuses and buses "will operate according to Sunday schedules, with minor adjustments."

Preparations Pave the Way for Resumption:

The city's proactive approach seems to have played a crucial role in the swift return of public transport. "Both on Monday and Tuesday," the City Hall statement reads, "trolleybuses operated on the streets of the capital to prevent the accumulation of ice on the overhead contact network." This preventative measure ensured minimal disruption to services once the storm subsided.

Potential Hiccups and Passenger Guidance:

While regular operations have resumed, the City Hall advises commuters to be mindful of potential hiccups. "During the day, there may be delays from the scheduled schedule, stops or redirections," the statement warns. Passengers are encouraged to factor in possible delays and check for any modifications to the usual routes.
