Government approves the concept for the EVO app. The full version will include more options
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the concept for the EVO government application. Through it, both individuals and legal entities will have access to information and functionalities, reads a Government press release.
The mobile application will make available a wallet of digital documents, where it will be possible to access: identity card, driver's license and registration certificates. Moreover, it will integrate modules and data from MCabinet, as well as will provide direct access to services and information from the Public Services Portal.
The full version will include the option to grant, revoke, review and keep MPower proxies; will make it possible to make appointments to the services available in the eProgramare system, as well as access information on the insured status, the family doctor, information on vaccines and other health information, the Executive informs in a press release.
Authentication in the application will be possible through electronic signatures and the MPass portal, also offering a guest mode. The Electronic Government Agency has been appointed as the owner and keeper of the EVO application and will ensure the functionality and continuous development of the application. It will be available for free download through the Play Store and App Store platforms and online stores.
EVO application is implemented with the support of external partners, the cost is over 3.5 million lei.
