Another contestant withdraws from the Eurovision National Selection. It is about Vladimir Ciubotaru, the leader of the band VOVI ROBIAN, who submitted a request in this regard to the Organizing Committee of the National Selection.

The band withdraws from the competition, citing reasons related to the state of health of one of the members, and was due to participate in the stage of the live auditions on January 13 with the song "Robotul Vovi".

We remind you that on December 26, last year, Aliona Moon's management team requested the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company to withdraw the singers from the Eurovision 2024 National Selection.

Initially 51 files were registered in the contest, and for the stage of live auditions 32 songs were admitted, and two contestants withdrew. Therefore, 30 songs will be auditioned by a professional jury on January 13 and the finalists of the Eurovision 2024 National Selection will be selected.

The National Final will take place on February 17.
