"Despite this fact, the Republic of Moldova maintains its firm commitment to counteracting external interference and any destabilizing actions towards our security and sovereignty", states the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) in a statement.
At the same time, concern was expressed to the Moldovan diplomat regarding the information in the media "about the plans of the Republic of Moldova to train military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Republic of Moldova with the participation of instructors from NATO countries".
"Such support is unacceptable, leading to the erosion of Moldova's neutral status and its direct involvement in hostilities on the part of the Kiev regime," according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
