The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, has today signed the decree by which Veaceslav Negruța, adviser in the economic field, is appointed as Secretary General of the Office of the President of the Republic of Moldova, starting from January 11, 2023, according to the presidential institution.

Cristina Gherasimov, who has held that position until now, will continue her activity as an adviser in the field of foreign policy and European integration.

Also, starting today, Stela Jantuan will exercise the position of presidential adviser on political issues, relations with public authorities and civil society.

At the same time, the head of state accepted the resignation of the advisor for public communication, the spokeswoman of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Sorina Ștefîrță.
