A new deputy joins the Action and Solidarity Party in Parliament
The "Action and Solidarity Party" fraction has a new deputy. It is about Ion Poia, whose mandate was validated by the Constitutional Court.
The deputy was greeted, today, during the plenary session of the Parliament. According to a press release from the Legislative, Ion Poia is an accountant by profession, a graduate of the International Free University of Moldova.
Originally from Ungheni, he held municipal and district councilor mandates. The deputy mandate from the list of the Action and Solidarity Party became vacant after Gheorghe Agheorghiesei was elected mayor of Vărzărești commune in Nisporeni district.
Also, in today's plenary session, the draft decision was approved, which takes note of Galina Sajin's resignation request, which was submitted for personal reasons. Accordingly, a mandate belonging to the PAS Fraction has become vacant.
Under the Law on the status of the deputy in the Parliament, the vacant mandate will be assigned to the next substitute on the list of the electoral competitor "Action and Solidarity Party".
