Davos Forum: The Moldovan Prime Minister discussed with his counterparts the strengthening of economic relations with Bulgaria and Poland
Possibilities to strengthen and to develop bilateral relations with Poland and Bulgaria were discussed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
Dorin Recean thanked the president of Poland for supporting the European path of our country, but also of Ukraine. The officials discussed the bilateral relations and the opportunities to strengthen them, in the context in which 81 companies with Polish capital are already investing in the Republic of Moldova, reads a press release issued by the Executive.
It should be noted that Poland is in the top 10 trade partners of our country worldwide and occupies the 14th place in the ranking of the main foreign investors in the Republic of Moldova.
At the meeting with the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Nikolai Denkov, the opportunities that could be used to strengthen the bilateral relationship in the economic and educational fields were analyzed. Thus, the officials expressed their hope that the extension of "Anghel Kânchev" University in Ruse will be opened in Taraclia soon. On this occasion, Dorin Recean invited Nikolai Denkov to Chisinau.
Also, the prime minister confirmed to his Bulgarian counterpart that the Republic of Moldova will continue its efforts to carry out reforms and to modernize the country according to the European model.
