A Moldovan, wanted for murder, was extradited from the Russian Federation
A 54-year-old man from Rîșcani district, wanted nationally and internationally since 2022 for murder, was detained in the Russian Federation.
According to the police, in 2008, the man, through a prior agreement with a 39-year-old woman, would have killed her husband, then buried him in Rîscani district.
Later, in 2013, during the on-site investigation in the Rîscani district, the rotting bones of the victim were discovered.
The arrest of the man was possible thanks to the actions taken by the officers of the National Investigation Inspectorate.
The suspect was extradited by air and handed over to the law enforcement authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
