The South of the Odesa region would eliminate its dependence on the Cuciurgan Power Plant
The south of the Odesa region would eliminate its dependence on the electricity produced by the Cuciurgan Thermal Power Plant. Recently, the Ukrainian operator Ukrenergo signed a 2.79 billion hryvnia agreement for the construction of the 330 kilovolt Novoodesa-Artiz power transmission line.
The project envisages the unification of the Ukrainian energy system, together with the construction of a ring road near the town of Palanca.
The new line will provide electricity for 30% of the Odesa region. We remind that the State Enterprise Energocom procures most of the electricity from Cuciurgan.
