Moldovan president convened the CSS meeting today. The problems in the judicial system, on the discussion agenda
The head of state, Maia Sandu, today convened the meeting of the Supreme Security Council (CSS) at which problems of the judicial system were addressed, in particular, corruption in the system, reads a press release from the Presidency.
"This topic was discussed in the light of the recently adopted National Security Strategy, which identifies corruption, including in the justice system, as a serious threat to the security of the state and citizens," reads the quoted source.
In addition to CSS members, the members of the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Superior Council of Prosecutors, the Supreme Court of Justice and other representatives of the justice sector were invited to the meeting.
