Lithuanian MPs on a visit to the Republic of Moldova
The reform agenda of the Republic of Moldova, the European path of our country and the opportunities for boosting Moldovan-Lithuanian relations in various fields will be the topics discussed by the deputies from the Group for interparliamentary relations with the Republic of Moldova of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, who will undertake a visit to Chisinau between January 30 and February 1.
At the Parliament, the Lithuanian deputies will have meetings with the Parliament Speaker , Igor Grosu, with the president of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Doina Gherman, the president of the Economy, Budget and Finance Commission, Radu Marian, and the president of the Agriculture and Food Industry Commission, Alexandr Trubca.
The members of the delegation will also talk with the president of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Lithuania, Ion Babici.
Also, the agenda of the visit includes meetings with the president of the country, Maia Sandu, and with the prime minister Dorin Recean. The Lithuanian deputies will meet with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
Members of the Interparliamentary Relations Group of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania will also go to Cahul and Soroca, where they will have discussions with farmers in the region, reads a press release of the Legislative.
