The government has appointed a new secretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Sergiu Mihov was appointed as State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The decision was approved today, February 7, during the Government meeting.
Sergiu Mihov is a career diplomat, previously he served as ambassador to Lithuania.
"I want to thank Mrs. Leucă for being part of the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, but also for the contribution to our common work," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
We remind you that Stela Leuca announced yesterday, February 6, that she is resigning from the position of State Secretary for European Integration within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She did not specify the reasons behind this decision, but expressed her gratitude "for a productive cooperation with government institutions in the process of bringing the Republic of Moldova closer to the EU".
