Consultations at the Presidency // Maia Sandu discussed with the representatives of the sports federations about the referendum on the Republic of Moldova’s accession to the EU
The public consultations on the referendum on the Republic of Moldova’s accession to the European Union, initiated by the President Maia Sandu, continue. According to a press release from the Presidency, representatives of sports organizations in the country were invited to discussions.
The head of state emphasized that the Moldovan athletes managed to achieve performances at international competitions, contributing to the promotion of the country's image, and now the time has come for us all to contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova, through active civic involvement.
The series of consultations will continue in the coming weeks. The referendum on Moldova's accession to the European Union will be held by the end of this year.
