Serious accident near the town of Cetireni: A 17-year-old girl died

A 17-year-old girl died after the car she was a passenger in skidded off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on Wednesday evening, near the village of Cetireni, Ungheni district.

According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), a 25-year-old man was driving an Audi A4 car, in a state of advanced alcoholic intoxication and without a driver's license.

As a result of the breathalyzer test, the police determined that the man had a breath alcohol concentration of 0.72 mg/l.

The IGP announces that a criminal trial was initiated on this case to establish all the circumstances, and the young man was detained for 72 hours.
