Zelenskyy Seeks Increased Weapons Production, Calls for Unity
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with newly appointed military leaders on Monday, outlining key steps to strengthen the country's defence against ongoing Russian attacks, Digi24.ro has reported.
Strengthening Mobile Defence:
A central focus was bolstering mobile fire groups, a cornerstone of Ukraine's strategy. "We will increase the number and capabilities of these groups," declared Zelenskyy, emphasising their effectiveness against Russian threats.
Protecting Infrastructure:
Zelenskyy underscored the need to safeguard critical infrastructure from Russian strikes. He urged increased production of ammunition, drones, and electronic warfare equipment, seeking collaboration from both government and private entities.
International Cooperation:
Zelenskyy highlighted the importance of international cooperation, announcing Ukraine's vision for the war at the upcoming Munich Security Conference. "This year is decisive," he stressed, urging free nations to unite.
