Moldova Trains Peacekeepers for KFOR Mission in Germany

Over 60 Moldovan soldiers are honing their skills at the "KFOR 33 Mission Rehearsal Exercise" in Germany, readying for potential deployment in the Kosovo peacekeeping mission.

Exercise Goal:

"The purpose of the exercise is to prepare the participating countries' military contingents for future deployment in the Kosovo peacekeeping mission," stated the Moldovan Ministry of Defense.

International Collaboration:

Soldiers from Albania, Armenia, Latvia, Romania, Italy, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and the United States join their Moldovan counterparts in various training modules.

Part of Strategic Plan:

This participation fulfils Moldova's 2024 External Activity Plan, outlined by the Ministry of Defense. The exercise, launched in January, concludes tomorrow.

Long-Standing Commitment:

Moldovan National Army troops have consistently participated in German exercises since 2012, demonstrating their commitment to international peacekeeping efforts.
