Ferrari unveils ambitious SF-24 for 2024 F1 title bid

Scuderia Ferrari has unveiled its challenger for the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship, the SF-24.

Featuring a revised livery with prominent white and yellow accents, the car signifies a shift in design philosophy compared to the unpainted carbon fibre trends embraced by rivals.

The SF-24 carries the hopes of a team determined to rebound from a third-place finish in 2023. Team Principal Mattia Binotto emphasised the car's potential, stating, "The SF-24 represents a significant step forward in our pursuit of championship glory. We've addressed key areas for improvement and are confident we have a competitive package."

Driver line-up remains unchanged for the final year of the Leclerc-Sainz partnership. Charles Leclerc, eager to challenge for the title, commented, "We need to focus on ourselves and maximise every opportunity. It's too early to predict where we stand compared to our competitors, but we're ready to fight."

Carlos Sainz, the sole non-Red Bull race winner in 2023, echoed Leclerc's sentiment, declaring, "This car inspires confidence. We're a team united in our goal, and I'm determined to contribute my best alongside Charles."

Lewis Hamilton's anticipated arrival in 2025 adds another layer of intrigue to Ferrari's season. However, the immediate focus remains on the present, with pre-season testing scheduled for February 21-23 and the season opener in Bahrain on March 2nd.
